Captain Horr's plantation is on Key Marco, which was formerly known as Horr's Island. The plantation was established by Captain John Foley Horr in the late 1800s on what is now Key Marco, (formerly known as Marco Key). He developed a pineapple plantation, a citrus grove, and a packing plant there. You can still visit the ruins of the plantation there.
